Equestrian Program
Peace Ranch offers an Equestrian Program every Friday, conducted by a certified therapeutic riding instructor. Peace Ranch has 5 horses in total; 3 full sized: Jamie, the thoroughbred and Penny and Black Velvet, our Percherons as well as 2 minis: Maggie and Pierre. This program is open to people with mental illness living in the community who are interested in learning about horses and their care.

The mission of Peace Ranch is to provide supportive housing and rehabilitative programs for adults who have serious mental illnesses, enabling them to live and work in a community atmosphere. It fulfills this mission through Psychosocial Rehabilitation principles which enable individuals to move toward recovery.
