Our Mission
The mission of Peace Ranch is to provide supportive housing and rehabilitative programs for adults who have serious mental illnesses, enabling them to live and work in a community atmosphere. Peace Ranch fulfils this mission through Psychosocial Rehabilitation principles which enable individuals to move toward recovery.
Though our commitment to this mission, we provide choice for people looking for support with mental health and addiction challenges to live and participate in programs in the rural environment of the farm, or in the communities of Brampton, Caledon and Orangeville, Ontario.
We embrace the principles of hope, empowerment, choice and responsibility and we believe that all people with mental health problems can find meaning and purpose in their lives as defined by themselves, despite limitations imposed through a condition of mental illness.
