Green Spaces Program Details

is a rural-based, social recreation program that offers meaningful therapeutic activities to people embarking on mental health recovery in Caledon, Brampton, Orangeville and the surrounding areas. Our unique setting provides an ideal place for the recovery process. Simply being outdoors in the country can help us feel calm, and clear our minds. Our activities, facilitated by participants, staff and volunteers, enhance the setting with rewarding work on a functional farm. Horticultural Therapy and Animal-Assisted Therapy aid participants on their road to recovery and wellness. Green Spaces provides opportunities and skills for participants to cultivate the friendships that are so important in mental health recovery. Green Spaces activities enhance leadership and social skills, supporting people to successfully integrate into their communities.
