Community Supported Housing

Our Community Supported Housing Program offers individuals with mental health and housing challenges to apply for assistance for housing and support in the communities of Caledon and Dufferin. This program is provided through a partnership between Peace Ranch and Supportive Housing in Peel. Many people have skills to live on their own in a familiar community with support. Our Community Housing and Support Program offers an apartment with subsidized rent, and a professional worker to assist the individual with their goals. We strive to establish a safe and respectful environment, through affordable housing and building of positive relationships. While living within the community, an opportunity to become a part of that community develops. With the assistance of the workers, there is the ability to explore new opportunities and make connections that can generate new possibilities. Through open dialogue surrounding mental health and recovery, one can build a sense of connection and hope. The security of housing enables an individual to concentrate on health and determine what recovery means to them in their own community.
