A Day in the Country
This program was initiated in 2004 by our current Executive Director to allow Peace Ranch to share our quiet and peaceful setting with people who live in the concrete and steel environs of metropolitan areas. Each Day in the Country is tailored to the specific group attending and provide a respite at the ranch to enjoy rural activities including our therapeutic animal programs and a seasonal craft. A hearty lunch is provided to all participants.

The mission of Peace Ranch is to provide supportive housing and rehabilitative programs for adults who have serious mental illnesses, enabling them to live and work in a community atmosphere. It fulfills this mission through Psychosocial Rehabilitation principles which enable individuals to move toward recovery.
